Allow me to introduce myself...
I'm Ally. A 21 year old student studying a BSc in Applied Equine Studies. I've been riding for 10 years, and my goal this year is to take the pony I share to the worlds smallest One Day Event.
Introducing Mister Benn...
Ben is an 11 year old, 14.2hh Dales x Cob, who thinks he's a fine-boned flashy Thoroughbred. He enjoys anything involving food, and getting plastered in mud. He loves his jumping, having done a couple of clear rounds as well as being our local riding club Driving Type 2013 Champion, but at this time of year, he mainly spends about 4 hours a week happily ambling though the Cambridgeshire countryside dodging puddles and spooking at pheasants!
I hope to update this blog every time I ride, so I can track our progress on the road to becoming "eventers" including details of my own fitness plan!
